Saturday October 26th @ 5 PM at the Friends Forever Studio (285 Rantoul St -- Pond St entrance) with Ashlee Beadle
Join shop manager Ash (@ashbeadle) as she teaches you how to make your very own rubber stamp, with a twist! Design your image to stamp, but we're making them political AND printing on fabric so you can wear them for election week!
This workshop is a beginners level block printing class where you'll design your own stamp, carve it, and then practice printing it on paper and then fabric. This course will teach you how to use basic printmaking tools such as linoleum blocks, carving tools, brayers, and barens, and will focus on creating a one color image so that attendees can learn how to carve efficiently.
All materials and tools will be provided for you. Please come with a design in mind, or a small drawing to replicate on the block.* At the end of the workshop, attendees will be able to take their paper prints and block home, but any images printed on fabric can be picked up in Soy Much Brighter the following week.
* You do not need to be an "artist" to attend this class. Just someone who loves to learn and loves to create, whatever that may mean to you

Cancellation policy
In the event of a workshop cancellation by the instructor or Friends Forever, all attendees will be notified and receive a full refund and notified of a rain date if any.
There is a 5-day cancellation window for attendees. You can cancel your reservation within 5 days before the class date to receive a refund. Cancellations after the 5-day window will not be refunded.
In the event of a rescheduled class, patrons with already purchased tickets will be notified and get first priority for seats for the new date. New and remaining seats -- if any -- will then be opened up to the public for purchase.

I want to have my party/private event at FFS!
Please send all inquiries for private events to bebright@soymuchbrighter.com with the date and time you are looking to book the space for. We are open to hosting fundraisers, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or other events for ages 18 and up. Please also include in your email if you'd like the studio to also host a workshop for your event - ex: candle making, painting, etc
Photography policy
Photographs may be taken at any of the FFS workshops and may be used in future marketing of the studio and it's events
Do you have kids classes?
Unfortunately no, we are an adults-only studio space. All our classes are 18+ unless otherwise stated.
