The deets
Join us Sunday February 9th from 11 - 1 pm for Embroidery Basics! In this introductory class we will create our own embroidery stitch samplers so that you can practice various stitches and have a tangible record of them. There will be a selection of stick-and-stitch patterns available for you to try your hand at stitching onto clothing, or bring your own inspiration pictures so we can turn them into a pattern! If you’d like to stitch on a specific piece of clothing, please bring it.
All materials will be provided. The photos included in this post are examples and will not necessarily be what you make!
What to expect:
- $45 fee includes all materials; embroidery hoops, needles, fabric, floss will be provided.
- attendees will walk away with an introductory understanding of how to begin your own embroidery journey
- baked treats and seltzers will be provided
- folks can bring their samplers home on the same day

Cancellation policy
In the event of a workshop cancellation by the instructor or Friends Forever, all attendees will be notified and receive a full refund and notified of a rain date if any.
There is a 5-day cancellation window for attendees. You can cancel your reservation within 5 days before the class date to receive a refund. Cancellations after the 5-day window will not be refunded.
In the event of a rescheduled class, patrons with already purchased tickets will be notified and get first priority for seats for the new date. New and remaining seats -- if any -- will then be opened up to the public for purchase.

285 Rantoul St at the Pond St entrance around the corner. Look for the purple garage door!

I want to have my party/private event at FFS!
Please send all inquiries for private events to bebright@soymuchbrighter.com with the date and time you are looking to book the space for. We are open to hosting fundraisers, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or other events for ages 18 and up. Please also include in your email if you'd like the studio to also host a workshop for your event - ex: candle making, painting, etc
Photography policy
Photographs may be taken at any of the FFS workshops and may be used in future marketing of the studio and it's events
Do you have kids classes?
Unfortunately no, we are an adults-only studio space. All our classes are 18+ unless otherwise stated.
