Join us Saturday March 8th from 4 - 6 PM for a lesson in Financial Literacy! -- This workshop also happens to fall on International Women's Day!
Given the state of the world, we need to be relying on each other more than ever. And when it comes to being financially secure, many of us have no idea how or what that means.
This workshop is about getting clear on the basics of finance: all of the stuff we should have learned in school but didn't. We'll dig into ways to save for the future, protect our chosen family, and mindfully spend money, because we still gotta live in this capitalist hellscape.
You'll leave this workshop with more knowledge of what your options are, tools and resources for setting up your safety net, and hopefully less anxiety about how and where your money is flowing

This workshop will be offered one of two ways:
1) Book a seat for the workshop (only 15 available) and learn in person on Saturday March 8th (also comes with a digital video recording of the workshop)
2) Get the digital video recording of the workshop emailed ONLY -- best for people who cannot make it day of, or if the in person class is sold out. This option will only remain on the site for 30 days after the workshop, so get it while you can!
Both purchase options will be emailed the digital recording the day after the event - March 9th. The digital video recording link will expire 30 days after the class date.
Pricing for both options is sliding scale $10, $20, or $30 -- pick whichever works best for you and your schedule!

Meet your Instructor
Sarah DeLuca is a Money and Philanthropy Coach with Move Money Shift Power where she focuses on social change philanthropy with individuals, families, and foundations.
Sarah began her social justice career working in documentary filmmaking in LA, but quickly realized she wanted to be more deeply involved in activism. She spent a decade working for social justice non-profits, building grassroots movements and raising millions of dollars. In addition to honing her organizing and fundraising skills there, Sarah developed her analysis of corporate power and systemic change.
In 2018, she opened Move Money, Shift Power, where she works directly with funders who want to move wealth and power to grassroots movements, and heal their relationship to money.
She is a Capricorn and an 8 on the Enneagram, making her a BOSS lady, spreadsheet nerd, and loves helping others “get shit done!”
She and her husband live on the North Shore of Massachusetts with their dog, Freddie Mercury.
Cancellation policy
In the event of a workshop cancellation by the instructor or Friends Forever, all attendees will be notified and receive a full refund and notified of a rain date if any.
There is a 5-day cancellation window for attendees. You can cancel your reservation within 5 days before the class date to receive a refund. Cancellations after the 5-day window will not be refunded.
In the event of a rescheduled class, patrons with already purchased tickets will be notified and get first priority for seats for the new date. New and remaining seats -- if any -- will then be opened up to the public for purchase.

I want to have my party/private event at FFS!
Please send all inquiries for private events to bebright@soymuchbrighter.com with the date and time you are looking to book the space for. We are open to hosting fundraisers, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or other events for ages 18 and up. Please also include in your email if you'd like the studio to also host a workshop for your event - ex: candle making, painting, etc
Photography policy
Photographs may be taken at any of the FFS workshops and may be used in future marketing of the studio and it's events
Do you have kids classes?
Unfortunately no, we are an adults-only studio space. All our classes are 18+ unless otherwise stated.
