Join us Saturday May 24th from 2 - 3:30pm for a collage workshop called Here Comes the Sun with

Therese Roeser!

In this collage workshop, we will be drawing inspiration from the Sun card in the Smith-Waite Tarot deck. By reflecting on themes of self-celebration, joy and freedom, we will create our own personalized Sun cards.

Students will walk out of the class with:

  • a feeling of togetherness
  • their own hand crafted Sun card that they worked on by hand with guidance from fellow attendees and the instructor

Who would enjoy this class:

  • No experience necessary! Collage is a very flexible and playful medium so feel free to leave the self-judgment at the door.
  • Anyone looking to gather with community to create art

All supplies are included, and the class is capped at 10 participants. Join us for a fun and creative experience that will unlock your artistic potential!

*If you are a lefty, please be sure to bring lefty scissors!

meet your instructor

Therese Roeser is a social worker and artist. You can find her collage art on Instagram (@healingcrayons). Therese sees art as a healing practice supportive of mental health. She has taught collage workshops at the Umbrella Center for the Arts, SMB, Multiservice Eating Disorders Association and the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin (Green Bay chapter). 

Frequently asked questions

In the event of a workshop cancellation by the instructor or Friends Forever, all attendees will be notified and receive a full refund and notified of a rain date if any.

There is a 5-day cancellation window for attendees. You can cancel your reservation within 5 days before the class date to receive a refund. Cancellations after the 5-day window will not be refunded.

In the event of a rescheduled class, patrons with already purchased tickets will be notified and get first priority for seats for the new date. New and remaining seats -- if any -- will then be opened up to the public for purchase.

Please send all inquiries for private events to bebright@soymuchbrighter.com with the date and time you are looking to book the space for. We are open to hosting fundraisers, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or other events for ages 18 and up. Please also include in your email if you'd like the studio to also host a workshop for your event - ex: block printing, painting, spell jar making, etc

Photographs may be taken at any of the FFS workshops and may be used in future marketing of the studio and it's events

Unfortunately no, we are an adults-only studio space. All our classes are 18+ unless otherwise stated.
