Join us Saturday March 22nd from 4 - 6 pm for an afternoon of pottery painting! 

BYOB (Bring your own Besties) or come solo and meet new friends as we explore painting handmade pottery. Using ceramic paints and underglaze transfers, you’ll customize your very own porcelain bud vase – No experience with clay or painting required! 

Vases will be handmade and bisque fired in advance by your instructor, Denise from Seacoast Ceramics. During the workshop, Denise will demo various techniques and provide guidance to help everyone confidently create their own unique designs.


After the event Denise will take the vases back to her studio to add clear glaze and fire them in the kiln. Your completed creations will be available for pickup at Soy Much Brighter in approximately 2 weeks, or can be shipped to you for an additional fee.

 

This is the perfect workshop to honor the spring equinox! Come and paint new decor for your home, and then you'll be able to fill them with beautiful spring blooms once they come home.

All materials and tools will be provided. The photos included in this post are examples and will not necessarily be what you make!

Meet Your Instructor:

Denise Merry is the owner and artist behind Seacoast Ceramics. Denise has been doing pottery for over 12 years, using both stoneware & porcelain clays, she pulls inspiration from the ocean and life on the Northshore. Denise works out of her pottery studio in Magnolia, and teaches classes at Clay Dreaming in Beverly. She has a passion for sharing her knowledge and love for clay with others, and enjoys cultivating community through workshops at Friends Forever Studio. Frequently asked questions

In the event of a workshop cancellation by the instructor or Friends Forever, all attendees will be notified and receive a full refund and notified of a rain date if any.

There is a 5-day cancellation window for attendees. You can cancel your reservation within 5 days before the class date to receive a refund. Cancellations after the 5-day window will not be refunded.

In the event of a rescheduled class, patrons with already purchased tickets will be notified and get first priority for seats for the new date. New and remaining seats -- if any -- will then be opened up to the public for purchase.

We are open to hosting fundraisers, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, or other events for ages 18 and up. Please also include in your email if you'd like the studio to also host a workshop for your event - ex: block printing, painting, spell jar making, etc

Photographs may be taken at any of the FFS workshops and may be used in future marketing of the studio and it's events

Unfortunately no, we are an adults-only studio space. All our classes are 18+ unless otherwise stated.
